Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Lola’s Boutique is pleased to announce how we are contributing in the fight!  If you come into Lola’s during the month of October, and buy an Athena’s Owl Head Knits, 10% of her sales will go to the “Making Strides For Breast Cancer” walk in Prospect Park. Athena is a middle school student who makes these lovely creations and she is pleased to join in the fight!

These head knits are lovely for the winter and come in a range of colors and wools.  You’ll find a little owl sewn into all of her “wrap.”  Many of the buttons are vintage and the yarns range from wools (mohair, angora, alpaca blends) to cottons and synthetics.

They are super cute and make fantastic gifts!  It’s never too early to start holiday shopping knowing you are giving to a great cause!  Breast Cancer hits way too close to home for many, so you never know who you will touch with this gift.
